The Graduate Membership Certification Programme is ISL's entry-level professional programme — designed specifically for NYSC corps members and fresh graduates stepping into their careers. It delivers foundational supervision and leadership capability before your career demands it — giving you the professional credential and framework that most of your peers will spend years trying to acquire.

The programme is delivered over 12 weeks through online lectures, followed by revision classes and a certification examination. Successful candidates are admitted as Graduate Members of ISL (GISL) and gain access to CIML USA membership at the equivalent grade through ISL's Reciprocal Agreement.

This is the programme that sets the standard for how seriously you intend to take your professional career — from the very beginning.

The ISL Diploma in Supervision and Leadership is the foundational professional programme for those who are moving from individual contributor roles into positions of supervisory and management responsibility. It builds the structured supervision and leadership capability that the transition from doing the work to leading people who do the work requires.

This programme is for professionals who may not hold a degree-level qualification — or who have significant practical working experience and want to formalise their professional standing in supervision and leadership. It is deliberately accessible, recognising that great supervisors and leaders come from every educational and professional background.

Successful completion leads to Associate Membership of ISL (AISL) subject to meeting the relevant experience requirements, and provides the foundation for progression to the Advanced Diploma.

The ISL Advanced Diploma is designed for professionals who hold an ISL Diploma, ND, NCE, or technical BSc/HND qualification and are ready to advance their leadership knowledge and capability to the next level. It requires a higher level of academic and professional engagement — including a supervised research project that applies leadership principles to real organisational challenges.

The Advanced Diploma is structured as a two-semester programme — moving through taught content into applied research and project work. It is for professionals who have already led and now want to lead with greater depth, evidence, and professional rigour.

Successful completion leads to progression toward full Membership of ISL (MISL) subject to experience requirements.

At this level, leadership responsibility expands beyond teams into broader organisational outcomes. You are no longer managing tasks or even teams in isolation — you are integrating leadership, management, and strategy across functions and departments. The Total Leadership and Management programme is built for professionals at this stage.

This programme develops the integrated professional capability that mid-to-senior leaders require — connecting people leadership, organisational management, and strategic thinking into a coherent professional framework. It is for managers, directors, and administrators who carry responsibility across multiple dimensions of organisational performance.
