The Institute of Supervision and Leadership (ISL) was established under the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) No.1, Cap 59 of 1990 as a professional body in Nigeria, with registration number RC 696852 to carry out, among other things, the training of men and women on effective supervision and leadership, to inculcate the tenets of good supervision and leadership and the necessary standards into members through constant seminars, workshops, conferences etc for the overall developments of their skills on the jobs, to provide useful information to individuals, organizations and the country as a whole on supervision and leadership matters and to issue certificates to those who qualify for its membership.

Our focus therefore is on effective human and organizational supervision and transformational leadership which translate to developing and motivating quality in people as a way of touching their depth, to sensitise their hearts, to unleash their creativities and to challenge their characters. Reciprocal Membership
As per our Reciprocal Agreement, and on payment of certification fees, members of Institute of Supervision and Leadership (ISL Nigeria) can cap their membership of the Institute with the membership of Chartered Institute of Management and Leadership (CIML, USA) as per the following arrangement:
